Computer Classes

Classes are held in the Computer Lab on the fourth floor. Most classes are a 1.5 hour, hands-on class that meets for only one session. (Introduction To Typing meets five times.) You may repeat a class if you want to improve your skills.

How to Register

Register in person at the 4th floor Reference Services Desk, by phone at 847-376-2841 or online through the Events Calendar.

Registration begins on the 15th of each month for the following month.

Basic Computer Skills

Does it seem like absolutely everybody but you is using a computer? Then the Basic Computer Skills class is for you. You will learn the handful of basic mouse and typing skills that are needed to use simple computer programs and perform tasks online. The class will be as much fun as it is informative.
