Crafting on the Cheap

I love making things.

Paper Flower bouquets

I made many of these paper flowers using Lia Griffith’s tutorials.

Much of my free time is devoted to crafting: embroidering my mon (Japanese family crest) onto a tea towel, knitting my daughter's Halloween costume, cutting a garden out of paper.

And until the library opens its own Makerspace, I'm making do by turning my family room into my own defacto Makerspace (much to my husband's chagrin).

The DPPL Catalog is Growing - Again!

Friday October 18th at 9pm through Monday October 21st, online access to accounts and holds placement will not be available.

We expect to restore service by Tuesday October 22nd.

During this time, DPPL and 24 other area libraries in the CCS consortium will welcome the Indian Trails Public Library District to our shared catalog.

For you, this means MORE books, movies, and music will be available for library users.

Celebrating 65 Years with the Friends of the Library

Good friends are like stars. You don't always see them, but you know they're always there.
