Computers & WiFi
Using our Computers
Adults and older teens can sign themselves up to use the computers on the 4th floor while the library open. Please note that the computers sessions end five minutes before the library building closes. Patrons without library cards may use a guest pass to sign in.
All of our computers are equipped with Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Chrome, Firefox and Edge. Adobe Reader, 7 Zip software & Zoom are also installed on these PCs. Patrons have access to Printers.
All computers are also equipped with a screen magnifier and text-to-speech reader.
The Computer Help Desk is staffed during all open hours to help you with computer related questions. The Computer Help Desk provides assistance with library computers and library software only and cannot troubleshoot or provide training on your personal device

Computers are avaialbe on the 2nd floor for kids through 8th grade.
Using our Laptops
Laptops are available for teens & adults to check out on both 3rd floor & 4th floor with a library card & proper ID. These are for Library use only.
Using our Wi-Fi
Wireless Internet access is available through the library. DPPL Wi-Fi coverage extends throughout the plaza to the north, east and west of the building, and in most areas of the parking garage as well.
You can use your mobile device to download free ebooks. You even can print wirelessly too!
If you are bringing your own device to use in the library, please be aware that we:
- Cannot guarantee consistent speeds, quality of connection, or access.
- Cannot troubleshoot your computer or connection.
- Are not responsible for damage, theft, or loss of any kind.
- We also expect that you will protect your own privacy and security while online and not do anything illegal or against library policies
