Our department has many preloaded digital devices. From youngest to oldest, we've got you covered.
NOOKS
We have over thirty NOOKS available to checkout. Whether it's picture books, graphic novels, mysteries, or general fiction, there is something for all ages. Books are already set up on the device so all you have to do is take them home and read. Our NOOKS come in a plastic case to keep everything together, and includes a directional sheet and charger. Perfect for voracious readers.

Kindle Fire (Kids Edition)
The Fires on the second floor come with a subscription to FreeTime, which has a huge library of games and books for kids of all ages to play and read. Each device comes with 50 games already downloaded, so one can play without an internet connection. If you have access to WiFi, then you can download any game or book FreeTime has to offer. Popular apps from Toca Boca and PBS Kids are on these tablets.
Launchpad
These devices from Playaway have preloaded games based around a topic. Want to introduce STEAM concepts to your child, there is a Launchpad for that (Build It. Fix It. Fun!). Other devices cover letters, music, and animals. These devices even have games in different languages available.
