Happening at the library
We have a lot of great online resources available to patrons with Des Plaines Library cards.
If you do not have a library card, you can fill out our online application from home.
We will process temporary cards while we are closed and you can come to the carry-out desk and pick up your physical card whenever you are ready.
We will also be keeping a close eye on holds and ordering additional copies of in-demand ebooks and eaudiobooks so that our patrons can get them faster.
Great DPPL Bake-Along
Reference Services Assistant Parish Turner makes Rice Krispies Treats, the perfect treat to share with just about anyone, according to Nathaniel from Ryan Andrews' This Was Our Pact.
We’ll share our results, our recipes, and a little bit about our chosen stories on this blog.
AND we invite YOU to bake along with us.
Share what you make by tagging us with #DPPLBakes, send us your favorite recipes, or just enjoy reading our entries.
