DIY With DPPL: Color Your Room Cube
Hey, Kiddos! It's time for a special summer edition of DIY with DPPL!
This time, you'll learn how to make your very own color-changing LED nightlight. Starting on Saturday, June 12th, stop by the Youth Services desk on the second floor of DPPL to pick up a kit (while supplies last!), and then use the materials to do the project we show you step-by-step in the video.
Grade 3 and up.
Wee Artistes: Alexander Calder
The June 12 Wee Artistes kit is inspired by artist Alexander Calder and his colorful, kinetic creations.

DPPL’s Summer 2021 Design-A-Bookmark Contest
We want to see YOUR Art-rageous Masterpiece! All Ages are invited to participate.
Between June 5 - June 30, design a bookmark using the template and paint, crayon, pencil, markers or mixed media.
Return your completed entry and work of art to the 1st floor customer service desk or scan and email to summer@dppl.org.
Winners will be selected in four age categories and will be featured on professionally printed bookmarks given out at DPPL for all to enjoy!
