DPPL's collection of picture books for kids on the 2nd floor will be temporarily unavailable both on the floor and in the catalog beginning Friday, May 15.

We are installing new, forward facing shelving and when the project is complete, it will be awesome! The project is expected to take about 2 weeks.

ALL of the other collections for kids on the 2nd floor will be open and available, including the youth fiction, non-fiction, young adult, dvd, graphic novels, magazines, early reading and more.

We will have a small amount of picture books available for browsing during the project. And remember, your DPPL library card works at all neighboring libraries including Niles, Mount Prospect, Park Ridge and Elk Grove. If you just can't wait for a picture book fix, a field trip might be in order.
