Move and Groove with Food

park sign

Hot weather can make you crazy AND hungry!  Our course is full of delicious food to get you moving.  Have a look at Foodie Faces by Claire and Bill Wurtzel

to get some ideas on how to have fun with food.

We need food to live but did you ever stop to think about how it makes you feel?  What kind of face do you make when you think of a cool slice of watermelon?  How about licking a lemon?

How does food make you feel?

Licking a sour lemon isn't our idea of fun but if we use our imagination, maybe we could pretend it was a lemon popsicle instead.

Try out the book I Will Never Not Ever Eat a Tomato by Lauren Child

to see how Charlie and Lola use their imaginations to eat all sorts of things.  And be sure to find our spaceship along the chalk course so you can pretend, too!
