This all sounds wonderful! But how do I sign up for one?
Obtaining a library card is simple!
If you live in incorporated Des Plaines, all you need is a photo ID with your current address.
If your ID does not have your current address on it, please also bring a piece of mail (like a utility bill) with your new address on it.
Just stop by the front desk and one of our friendly Patron Account Assistants will be happy to sign you up for a new card, or apply online.
