If you love audiobooks or even if you are just discovering them, the SYNC audiobook program provides interesting titles with professional narration.

This program is targeted toward teens, but anyone over 13 years old can access. 

Each week the SYNC program provides two thematically paired audiobooks for checkout and use with the Sora app. Sora is the student reading app from Overdrive. 

Once the titles have been downloaded to your shelf in Sora, you can listen to them again and again.

This year SYNC starts April 27 and continues for 14 weeks. That means 28 audiobooks.

The audiobook pairings are offered through August 2. The pairings are based on various characteristics. It could be genre, writing style, character type or setting that link the stories. Share the information about SYNC with friends and family. People around the country with Overdrive access should have the same opportunity with their library card. 

You don't need to be affiliated with a school to use Sora with the SYNC program, but first REGISTER for SYNC. 

Then set up Sora:

• Download Sora from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or go to soraapp.com in your browser
• Tap Explore (at the bottom of the screen) to see the week’s featured titles [SYNC 2023 starts April 27]
• Enter the email address you used to sign up for SYNC and tap Sign In.
• Enter this setup code: audiobooksync and tap Get Started!
• In Sora, tap Have a setup code (at the bottom of the screen).
