Zoo Obstacle Course at Administrative and Leisure Center!
It is another installment of DPPL's Move & Groove Tuesday!
We are still coming at you from the Des Plaines Park District, but at a different location.
Did you guess the location correctly?
Each week look for a new fun way to get moving around Des Plaines.
We'll post them on DPPL's Facebook and Instagram pages and here on the blog.
If it rains, no worries! We will have a fun indoor activity for you to do instead!
This week, we are going wild for zoo animals!
So, we headed over to Des Plaines Park District's Adminstrative and Leisure Center to make their sidewalks come alive with animals! You can find the course next to the playground on the side of the building.
Stop by and:
Roar like a lion (don't get eaten)!
Flap like a butterfly!
Stomp like an elephant!
You can race against friends (while socially distancing, of course).
Or time yourself (and see if you can get faster).
Don't forget to take pictures and tag them #mydpplsummer on social media.
If you keep track of your time, let us know in the comments!
A big thank you to the Des Plaines Park District for letting us take over your sidewalk.
We have one more obstacle course left for Move and Groove this summer.
We will be out and about next week, if the weather cooperates.
Any guesses on the theme?
