“We Are Who We Choose To Be”
It's never too late, or too early, to make a resolution to improve yourself, even if you are Green Goblin, and the path to a better you can lead through the Des Plaines Library.
If you put aside for a moment that it is from a Marvel arch-villian, the title quote is as true as it is simple.
If you prefer your inspirational quotes to come from a good guy rather than a bad guy, we can all nod sagely with Albus Dumbledore as he states:
"It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities."
Waiting for a new year is not the best time to choose to make improvements in your life: the optimal time is right now.
It can take a great amount of effort to change the smallest things in our lives, but once we are able to jump the track of our daily routine, new prospects abound.
And those possibilities also thrive here at our library in a spectrum of opportunities of our on-shelf items as well as all of our website resources (Lynda.com, Hoopla, Kanopy, etc.) that you can use from the comfort of wherever you're at!
