It is another installment of DPPL's Move & Groove Tuesday.

Each week look for a new fun way to get moving around Des Plaines.

We'll post them on DPPL's Facebook and Instagram pages and here on the blog.

We will have a fun indoor activity for you to do instead!

This week’s theme is all about the heat.  The dry heat!

So, we headed over to Central School in Des Plaines and brought along some sand with our chalk supplies!

We created a desert obstacle course on the blacktop, right by the playground.  

 

Stop by and:

Run around the cacti (watch out for those prickles!)

Climb up the sand dunes!

Pop up like a meerkat!

You can race against friends (while socially distancing, of course). 

Or time yourself (and see if you can get faster).
